Some Dangerous Doctrines and “New Revelations” springing up nowadays! Any “New Revelation” from any preacher that breeds ‘fruits of unrighteousness’, chaos, arrogance, strife and division among believers of Christ is to say the least SUSPECT! And Christians should be wary of such dangerous doctrines or revelations.

We have seen this movie before! God is not the author of confusion! Paul the Apostle warned us in Romans 16:17-18 saying:

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple”.

In Philipians 1:9-11, Paul the Apostle also prayed this powerful prayer for the church saying: “And this I pray, that your love may abound more and more [displaying itself in greater depth] in real knowledge and in practical insight, so that you may learn to recognize and treasure what is excellent [identifying the best, and distinguishing moral differences], and that you may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ [actually living lives that lead others away from sin]; filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God [so that His glory may be both revealed and recognized] (AMP Version).

Believers are products of what they hear. We must be careful how we present the gospel of grace to the hearers. Sometimes it appears some of us forget what the Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”. The Amplified version is even more delicious. It says “All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately–behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; so that the man of God may be complete and proficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work”.

Noise making is not the proof of spirituality. Building a growing ‘cult followership’ around an unfounded doctrine doesn’t make that doctrine a sound doctrine.

The church has a new enemy – it’s called DISTRACTION!

If there had ever been a time Christians needed discernment more, it is now!

May God help us all!
